Objective: The primary objective for the FCEN website was to establish a professional and informative online presence that effectively communicates the company’s expertise in structural and civil engineering services. The client needed a website that would showcase their wide range of services, from structural design and civil/stormwater drainage design to specialized assessments like NatHERS and noise and vibration monitoring. The site needed to appeal to both private and commercial clients, offering easy access to detailed service descriptions and facilitating communication with the firm.
Industry: Structural and Civil Engineering. The challenge was to design a platform that could present technical services clearly and professionally, ensuring that potential clients could easily understand the scope of work and the firm’s capabilities.

Design Approach

Design Strategy: The FCEN website, designed by BurstNET using WordPress, features a clean, professional design tailored to the needs of the structural and civil engineering industry. The design strategy focused on creating a balance between technical detail and user-friendliness, ensuring that the website is both authoritative and accessible.
The color palette was selected to convey trust, stability, and precision, using a mix of muted and accent colors to highlight key information and guide users through the site. The layout is organized and intuitive, with dedicated sections for each service offered, including Structural Design, Civil/Stormwater Drainage Design, Dilapidation Inspection and Reporting, Noise and Vibration Monitoring, NatHERS Assessment, and other specialized services.
