

Installing the BurstNET Agent for BurstNET MSP and Overview of the BurstNET Support Department

BurstNET Agent Installation (Windows)

To onboard a device into the BurstNET MSP monitoring and support environment, the BurstNET Agent must be installed. This agent enables remote support, monitoring, automation, and asset management.

Installation steps:

1. Download the BurstNET Agent
   Download the Windows installer directly from the official BurstNET MSP link:

2. Install via Command Line (Run as Administrator)
   Log in to the system with Administrator access.
   Open Command Prompt or PowerShell using “Run as Administrator”.

Once installed, the agent will automatically register the device under the BurstNET MSP Atera tenant.

3. Post-installation
   After installation, the device will appear in the BurstNET console and will be ready for monitoring, remote access, patch management, scripting, and ongoing support.

BurstNET Support Department – Overview

The BurstNET Support Department provides managed IT services and technical support using industry-standard MSP tools and processes. Devices with the BurstNET Agent installed are fully managed and monitored by BurstNET.

Core responsibilities of the BurstNET Support Department include:

* 24/7 system monitoring and alerting
* Remote technical support and troubleshooting
* Operating system and software patch management
* Device and asset inventory management
* Proactive issue detection and resolution
* Security monitoring and basic compliance support
* Centralised ticketing and service desk operations

By installing the Atera Agent, the device becomes part of the BurstNET managed environment, enabling proactive IT support, faster response times, and consistent service delivery aligned with MSP best practices.
